Sharon Hachey

Sharon is an early childhood educator with over 20 year's experience. Through her previous roles as Onsite Support Facilitator for the New Brunswick ELCC Curriculum framework, Coordinator of the Nova Scotia Community College, Cumberland Campus- Early Childhood Development Support Centre, teacher/director at Sackville Playschool, in home childcare provider and kindergarten teacher, along with membership and participation in ELCC sector organizations, professional development and community based initiatives, she is acquainted with the trends, challenges and opportunities that exist in the sector and our communities . She has an Early Childhood Education Diploma and is currently enrolled as a part time student in the Bachelor of Professional Arts- Human Services program at Athabasca University. Sharon is married, a mother of two young adults, Luke and Emma and lives in Sackville. She looks forward to working with the ELCC community in the Sackville area, along with her main role in organizing and guiding the work of the Early Learning Community Advisors situated throughout the province. In addition she will collaborate and liaise with various community partners to ensure the effective delivery of the vision, values, goals and principles of the Early Learning and Child Care Curricula.

Lisette

Lisette Arseneau-Wedge

Lisette has an Early Childhood Education diploma and more than 20 years experience working in early learning and childcare and family and community support positions. Along with her recent work as a speech language pathologist assistant with the Parle-moi /Talk with Me early language program in the Westmorland and Kent County area she has worked as a community home day care provider, as an educator and director in a variety of ELCC settings in the province and as outreach coordinator for the Greater Moncton Family Resource Centre. She is married and the mother of two adolescents and lives in Shédiac. Having lived and worked in a French-speaking minority she demonstrates a strong understanding of the Francophone language, culture and identity. In addition to taking a lead role in working with the Francophone population and the implementation of the Curriculum Éducatif throughout the province, she's looking forward to working directly with the Francophone ELCC Community in Westmorland and Kent County.

Lori Godin

Originally from Bathurst, Lori has been active in the ELCC sector since her graduation from the Institute for Early Childhood Education and Developmental Services-Truro in 1996, gleaning valuable experiences as an educator in an array of preschool programs, as a literacy facilitator in the elementary school stream, educational assisting in a kindergarten class and as a program manager for an 80-space non-profit childcare centre in Calgary. During her 10-year stay in Alberta, Lori also obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Calgary and, to support her role as child care manager, completed extension courses in Child Care Leadership at Mount Royal University. Since her return to New Brunswick in 2008, she has worked as a freelance writer from her home in Irishtown and is thrilled to be back in the Maritimes. Lori is eager to be part of the ECCENB team and looks forward to supporting and connecting with educators and advocating for the ELCC community in the Greater Moncton region.


Kembubi

Kembubi Christie

Kembubi is transitioning into this position from her former role as Professional Development and Field Services Coordinator for the UNB Early Childhood Centre Research and Development Team where, since 2007, her primary duty was to work with educators and directors in licensed child care centres as they implemented the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework for Early Learning and Childcare. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Bachelor of Education Degree and a Master of Education Degree. With over 13 years of education related experience she has worked in daycare centres and has taught in public and private schools in Fredericton, Ottawa, Victoria, Vancouver and Saint John. She lives in Saint John with her husband and is looking forward to connecting with the ELCC community in the Saint John and Fredericton regions.
Lisa

Lisa Green

Lisa resides in Saint John with her husband and two girls, Emma (9) and Becca (6). She graduated in 1993 from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Child Study degree and has worked in a variety of early learning and childcare settings in Saint John and Halifax as a teacher and director. For the past six years she has been providing in home childcare and has enjoyed the opportunity to be working at home with her own children. She is excited about the positive changes happening to early learning in New Brunswick and looks forward to being a part of those changes and working with ECCENB-SEPENB supporting the ELCC community in the Saint John and Fredericton regions.
Rebecca

Rebecca Gerry

Rebecca is a single mother to seven year Olivia. She grew up in the Saint John area and has recently relocated back home from the United States where she has been working and studying since 1997. She has a certificate in Human Service Counselling from NBCCSJ and a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked for the United States Navy for the past 10 years, as an early childhood educator, a training and curriculum specialist, and most recently as a child development center director. She is living in Fredericton and will enjoy getting to know and support the early learning and care community throughout the Fredericton Region.
Danielle

Danielle Michaud-Côté

Danielle lives in Drummond NB with her husband and three sons, Alexandre (11), Miguel (9) and Gabriel (7). A graduate of the Université de Moncton bachelor's degree in Education (Education préscolaire-élémentaire 1er cycle) in 1996, Danielle has been a leader in providing early learning and childcare in her community since then. What began as a community day care home has expanded into a 60-space centre where Danielle has played the role of educator and administrator. In the past year she has handed over the reins and has been more active at the community level supporting the learning of early childhood educators in her region by facilitating a component of the Curriculum Educatif and a course in early childhood education through CCNB in Campbellton. She is fascinated by the evolution of early learning and looking forward to working with the team of advisors supporting ELCC in the Francophone communities throughout Madawaska, Restigouche and Victoria regions along with some of Carleton County.
Roseline

Roseline Roy

Roseline lives in Bathurst with her husband and two teen daughters Cinthia-Line and Karine. She is transitioning into this role from her former position as director of Le Club des Amis Halte Scolaire Inc. where she has been for the past eight years. She has her Early Childhood Certificate from CCNB Campbellton and participated in the pilot of the Francophone Curriculum. Roseline is an active community volunteer and has been involved as a representative for the sector on the Child Care Staff Pay Equity Program joint steering committee. She is happy to be on the team and looks forward to working with educators and communities in Chaleur, the Acadien Peninsula and portions of the Miramichi.
Donna

Donna Baisley

Donna lives in the Miramichi with her two children Tiffany and Zane and has been worked in ELCC settings in the Miramichi region since graduating from the Institute for Early Childhood Education and Developmental Services- Froebel Centre in Truro NS in 1993. She has been involved with the New Brunswick Early Learning and Child Care Curriculum as a participant in the pilot delivery and most recently as an Onsite Support Facilitator. She has also enjoyed the opportunity to enhance her own professional development by presenting workshops at a variety of Institutes that were held around the province as a component of the UNB Program of Professional Learning for the Early Learning and Childcare Curriculum. Through these sessions and throughout the well being support document she shared her thinking and experiences to inspire fellow educators. She is excited to be working as an Early Learning Community Advisor supporting the Anglophone ELCC community in Miramichi, Restigouche and Chaleur.

Maryse Léger

Maryse lives in Moncton with her husband and children, Arianne and Mathis. Maryse has more than 20 years experience working in various family and community support, counselling, childcare and teaching positions. She has taught the Child & Youth Care with Addiction Support Worker Program at Moncton Eastern College, has worked as Director of the Dieppe Youth House where she facilitated the opening of the Between Friends After School Centre which now offers 90 spaces. Additional experiences include Outreach Worker for Dieppe citizens, Family Service Moncton workshop facilitator, Daycare Educator, Boys and Girls Club Program Facilitator, Coordinator for at risk youth programs in Ottawa and Moncton. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Psychology Degree. Throughout her career Maryse has collaborated with various levels of government, community agencies, employees and volunteers for implementation of much needed programs and services for citizens of all ages. She is very passionate about children's well being and looks forward to working with educators and communities in Moncton, Dieppe, Shédiac, and Cap-Pelé.
